Device accuracy is generally 90–95% under ideal conditions and correct protocols, depending on the test and the device, and also depends on usage, calibration, environment, patient preparation and operating procedure.

For the standard preventive health-screening setup, no special clinical establishment certificate or specialised professional qualification is required merely to install and operate the core point-of-care solution. It can be deployed at suitable locations and operated by a trained person. Additional regulatory, staffing or clinical requirements may apply if the deployment includes venous blood collection, laboratory diagnostics, specialised clinical procedures or other regulated services.
For the standard preventive-screening workflow, a DMLT technician, phlebotomist or doctor is not required. If a screening helps a person recognise a possible health concern and visit a qualified doctor before the condition is neglected or becomes more serious, the preventive-health objective has been achieved. A doctor may then use their clinical judgement and request confirmatory investigations wherever required.
A multi-parameter preventive screening typically takes approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on the selected tests. The per-patient operating cost is designed to be significantly lower than the prevailing market value of obtaining the corresponding assessments separately. Depending on the configuration and screening package, the running cost can be up to approximately 80% lower than the corresponding market value, without positioning the platform as a replacement for diagnostic laboratories.
The solution should preferably be installed and operated indoors in a clean, controlled environment and should not be directly exposed to excessive dust, moisture, rain, direct sunlight or other harsh environmental conditions. For general health-screening devices, a typical operating environment of approximately 10°C to 40°C can be maintained. When the configuration includes tests such as HbA1c or lipid profile, a more controlled temperature range of approximately 10°C to 30°C should be maintained, subject to the specific device and consumable manufacturer's instructions. Data can be hosted securely on AWS cloud infrastructure with primary, secondary and long-term/tertiary backup mechanisms, as configured for the deployment. Where required, the application and data architecture can also be deployed on client-controlled servers or cloud infrastructure, subject to technical, security and commercial requirements. Yes. Telemedicine can be integrated into the Clinics On Cloud ecosystem. Depending on project requirements, Clinics On Cloud can facilitate access to doctors for teleconsultation, or customers can integrate their own doctor networks. This supports a hub-and-spoke model in which connected points of care function as satellite locations linked to doctors or specialists at a central hospital or healthcare facility.
The standard preventive-screening solution is not intended to replace a diagnostic laboratory. The core platform focuses on preventive screening and point-of-care assessments. CBC, LFT, KFT and other laboratory investigations may be supported through compatible external diagnostic equipment as part of a customised clinical setup. Clinics On Cloud provides installation support, operator training and technical onboarding. The team trains the designated operators on the workflow and use of the configured solution. Warranty and post-warranty Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) services are available. AMC, service and recurring costs depend on the selected product, configuration and commercial agreement.
